History: Given piano lessons from an early age, Sam's musical finesse was not one that just came to him. He has worked damned hard to achieve what he has and by gar does he have the right to flaunt it. Not that he does. Even when he was younger he was a modest kid - didn't talk much, had a few close friends, got by. Took up a new instrument every year and studied music at school. By the age of 20 he was at University studying music and was a jack of all instruments. Upon finishing Uni he got a job as a teacher at a High School but had to travel a considerable distance to get there and, a few years later, moved closer to home. He now teaches at Inu Private High (which, incidentally, pays much better).
He has another hobby aside from music, however: walking! Yes, walking. Usually up a mountain or somewhere else that's scenic, but it's a hobby he's loved since he was young and he will do it whenever he can to relax.
