Awakening (Nigel_Uno#1)

He didn’t know how long it had been…

As he opened his eyes he felt his body heavier than he remembered it and every fiber within him felt sore.

Forcing himself up, he grunted at his body’s protests of his action but forced himself to stand none the less.

The blood rushed from his head and he temporarily lost track of where he was. Upon recovery, he walked over to his mirror and looked at himself.

Aside from his odd internal feelings, he looked normal. As he continued to examine himself in the mirror he began to feel as though he was conned. What had been in that drug anyway…

White walked up to the door to room one oh three and knocked on the door before disappearing in a cloud of black smoke and reappearing on the other side of the door. He watched Aksel stumble a little from standing too fast and walked over to him as Aksel looked at himself in the mirror. "How are you feeling today?" White asked as he placed his hands on Aksel's shoulders and moved his head around to rest it on Aksel's right shoulder.

Aksel attempted to shrug the unexpected visitor off of him but his weak body left him no strength at all to move away from him. He grumbled out some choice profanities before he turned his steel eyes up into the mirror again, using the reflective surface to watch the mysterious man.

"What did you do to me?" He managed to grunt out with a very scratchy voice. Even his throat was hurting him. He wasn't sure if he wanted to die or if he was happy that he was still able to breath by himself.

White laughed an eerily high pitched laugh and moved away from Aksel who obviously didn't approve of the proximity they had shared. He looked out the window of the small dorm room. "What have I done? You chose to inject yourself with the drug. I didn't force it on you." White turned around and looked up at Aksel with his face pointed downward. "You have chosen power. You have chosen to shed your weak human form and embrace the next step in human evolution." White laughed his eerie laugh again only louder this time.

"Shut up." Was all Aksel could manage to say as his head pounded with pressure from the older man's laughter. He was in no condition to even defend himself should something happen and since he still did not trust the man who stood behind him, he was weary.

"What happens now?" He finally asked after a few moments of silence, he couldn't argue that he himself chose to take the strange drug but now did not know what to expect. How long had he been out anyway?

White Moved over to sit on the bed while saying,"What happens next is entirely up to you. Generally the idea is to build an army and take over the world. How you do that is up to you." He plopped down on the bed and laid on his back with his legs still touching the floor and put his hands behind his head. White smiled, he had his champion. What did he have? "By the way, you've been out for a day. Don't worry about your classes. I forged a note saying that you were out due to the twenty four hour flu, signed by the nurse. Nigel won't do anything about it."

Aksel gives a dry, humorless laugh as he turns to look at the man on his bed.

"So, It's all on me then?" He walks over to the window and peers outside, watching the grounds and surveying for anything in particular that seems out of the ordinary.

"Where can I find the first few?" He asks, not sure where it is that he can begin, "And once I have my army, How do we get rid of that nosy bastard?"

White sits up on the bed and places his hands next his body to support himself due to the lack of a back rest. "Where ever you want. Though, I would suggest you start here. There are many here that have recently come to posses some amazing abilities." White stands and moves to stand uncomfortably close to Aksel. "Good luck." he says before disappearing in a cloud of smoke again.

Aksel kept his gaze on the now empty space where White had once been and gave out an aggravated sigh.

"Damn, Lazy (EXPLICATIVE)..."

He ran a hand through his messy hair and sighed once again.

'What the hell do I do now...' He wondered. Rather than dwell on the thought, he realized that the first thing he SHOULD be doing is to take a shower. He could worry about that 'army' at a later time.
