Who wants to live forever?

Kira is standing ate the side of the front entrance of the mall. He is wearing a sleeveless GreenDay shirt and a pair of athletic shorts. As he waits for Rina and Rexel. He found them both hot and could not wait to spend some time with them. Kira had headphones in his ears and scans the crowds.

A man in a black suit appeared in the mall and scanned the crowd of people inside. For looking so suspicious he wasn't trying very hard to hide his actions. He found who he was looking for and immediately headed straight for him. The tall man stopped in front of Kira and handed him an envelope. He never spoke a word before heading off into the crowd and disappearing outside the doors.

The letter read:

Mr. Kira Yagami,
You're presence is requested in the director's office at your earliest convenience. I am aware you are currently on a date however, it is imperative that we speak. For the time being please, enjoy yourself.

Kira takes the letter and reads it. He then crumpled it up and throws it into a nearby trash can. "please tell Mr.Uno that I will visit him as soon as I am done here. I am not here just on a date, but I also am here for reasons that are more personal. If he wishes to inquire about them, he can either wait 7 years for the freedom of information act kicks in, or go shove it".

"Hey. I don't make the rules. I just follow orders. If you're smart, you'll do whatever the letter instructed." The man gives him a sincere look before walking away.

Kira gies back to how he was as he waits fir the lovely girls to arrive. He watched the crowd go by, he could have sworn he had seen several of the people that want him hurt or dead had entered in a group but ignored it. Kira wondered what the two girls would be wearing and smiled to him self as he waited.

Rina ran towards Kira holding tightly onto the skirt of the dark teal dress that she wore, the gentle click of her sandals rang in her ears as she finally managed to reach the boy in front of her. Her long black hair was pulled back into a low and loose bun and a small daisy was pinned to hold it in place.

"I'm so sorry I'm late!" She huffed as she tried to catch her breath, "But there was an unforeseen dilemma."

Rina's thin shoulders shook with every breath she took and she managed to pull herself to stand straight before smiling brightly to the boy before her. That was until, she remembered a very important detail.

"AH! Yes and I'm sorry to say that Rex won't be joining us today. She had to serve a detention she received earlier this week."

Kira smiles at the sight of Rina and says "it is a pity, however you look lovely in that outfit. It suits you quite well" in a slightly flirtatious tone. Kira walks towards the door and says "After you Madam". Kira watched the girl and for the first time noticed her eyes. -she has pretty eyes- Kita thinks to himself.

Rina noted his tone and a soft pink began to settle across her cheeks as she entered the door that he held open for her.

"Thank you," She said looking away again, "You look very nice yourself."

Kira walks in the building behind Rina and walks just fast enough to catch up and then slows down. "thanks,if I knew you were going to wear something that lovely though I would have worn a shirt that was less punkish" Kira says playfully "since I have never been here, you might want to lead the way, unless you just want to wander for a little while".

"Ah, no it's quite alright! I always liked the punk look." She said smiling, "It suits you."

Rina quickly grabbed his hand and proceeded towards the food courts just as she felt a gentle vibration within her pocket.

"Oh, its Rex, um just hold on a second."

She flipped open her phone and opened the message.

So how's Kira? Remember that if he takes you to his room that the dorm walls are paper thin!

Rina's face went as dark as blood and she suddenly began to stutter...

Kira feels his hand get grabbed by Rina and thought -well I guess I don't have to worry about her getting awkward if I touch her-. Kira sees her turn red after reading the text and asks "are you ok? You seem a bit startled". Kira smiles at Rina and says "I'm glad to know you like the punk look".

"Oh ah yes everything is fine, just Rex being silly." She laughed lightly as she shook off her embarrassment.

"Yes, my older brother plays guitar and he always was avid for music. He introduced the style to Rexel and she wears it from time to time. I don't think it suits me but I always enjoyed the look none the less." She told him with a sweet smile,

"Something about it makes me think that the people who sport the look are very brave, very sure of themselves."

"wow your brother and I have something in common, we both play the guitar; well I played but the day before I came here my mom threw the guitar I play into a lake" Kira says light heartedly. "you say I look brave" Kira says " there is irony in that". Kira gets slightly closer to Rina inorder to avoid a group of guys who seem kind of sketchy. One turns to look at the two f them but walks away. " anything besides a smoothie I can get you while we are here" Kira asks as they pass a clothing store.

Rina smiled again, not taking note of how close he was to her now.

"Yes, the food court has almost anything you could want, there's this wonderful seafood restaurant there that makes delicious cod."

"Uh, there's also many other places if you don't feel like fish." Rina told him, accidentally bumping into him to avoid a rather large woman who seemed desperate to get to a 2-for-1 sale at the Macy's.

"seafood sounds good, been a while since I had a decent meal" Kira says as she bumps into him. Kira watches the women knock over a stand and laughs a little. "seems to me, that she really wants something". Kira looks at the stores and notices a bulletin board filled with what appeared to be pictures of pie. Kira points it out to Rina and asks "do I want to know?".

Rina giggled at the sight of the sign and turned her amethyst eyes toward the boy beside her, "You know, I don't think you do. And honestly neither do I."

She then pressed forward making sure that she still stayed close to Kira, not wanting to loose him in the almost unrealistically thick crowd.

"The place isn't far, just past these next few stores." She told him, smiling brightly when the neon sign that sported the restaurant's name came into view.

"Look, there it is!" She told him with another smile and once again turned to look at him.

As Kira walked he had to keep on getting closer until his body was touching her's, his hand was still holding her's and he felt the warmth from her body. Kira looks and notices their is no line to sit down. As Kira gets closer to the restaurant he was forced up against Rina by a large man with a walker. "I'm sorry" Kira tells her respectfully.

"Busy today!" She muttered but didn't pull away from him. He was warm she noticed, "Guess American's don't know anything about allowing others to pass."

Another man came and pushed Rina further into Kira. She blushed hotly when she realized how compromising the position was beginning to look.

"Oh, um I'm sorry." she told him while trying to give Kira back some space, only to be pushed back into him by another over-eager shopper.

Kira was half tempted to lay the guy out for how rude he was to Rina. -oh crap, I have...but I just met her- Kira thought to himself. "it ain't your fault, it wad his". Kira walks into the restaurant and up to the hostess. "party of two" Kira tells her. She leads the two of them to a booth and lays out menus before wandering off. Kira waits to sit until after Rina sat die to beatings he got for sitting beofre everyone had at home.

Rina takes her seat, trying her hardest to cool the blush on her face and hoping against hope that Kira wasn't thinking she was just a hormonal Brit out for quickies with strangers. Even though she had just met the boy that day she found that him to be very endearing and honestly wanted to get to know him better.

"So, um, Kira, please tell me about yourself." She smiles her brilliant smile again, hoping to put all the awkward happenings behind her and begin to get a better understanding of the mysterious boy before her.

Kira sits down and says "one way to describe me is the son of rage and love, I love music and as I said earlier I practice the martial arts. I come from the south and before I came to inu I lived with my sister and step mom. My favourite band is Greenday, but my favourite genre of music is indie; and I think you have very pretty eyes". Kira smiles at her holding that his complete jump over his history would go unnoticed. "how about you? Tell me about yourself".

Rina took note of his 'quick skim' of his history but knew better than to press people for information they didn't want to give.

"Ah well I guess their isn't much to tell I'm afraid. I'm the oldest daughter of Craven Knightly 'the Stock King of Britain'. My mother died when I was very young and my father remarried about four years ago. His new wife never cared for Rexel or I and so she demanded that my father send us abroad to study. That's when we were enrolled here." She paused to take a sip of the water that a hostess had placed on the table.

"I have two older brother and a step-brother as well." She then looked up towards Kira and added sweetly, "And thank you, most people just stare because of their weird coloring."

Kira smiles and says " Welcome to the land of the brave and the home of the brave" . Kira looks at her eyes and says "They are not weird, they are actuall very pretty". Kira takes a sip of his water and then sets it back down. Kira opens his menu and skims through it real fast, before decideing in a tuna steak.

Kira sets down his menu and takes another sip of his water. "do you play any instruments?" Kira asks. While she had said her brother did, she never mentioned if she did or not.

In the restaurant don't loose your head by queen played over the radio.

Rina had briefly flipped through the menu and decided that the fried cod with garlic mashed potatoes was going to be her meal since she hadn't indulged in fish for quite some time.

She smiled when she heard Kira's question, quietly realizing that she seemed to be doing that a lot today.

"Yes, I can play the violin and the piano, I also play cello but Rexel is far better at it than I am." She told him honestly.

"Though father never seemed to like listening to her." She added, a very sad smile suddenly falling over her pretty face.

Kira feeling that he hit a sore spot decided to quickly change the topic and asked " Do you have a favorite band, artist, or writer?". Kira smiles at Rina and takes a sip of his water and then notices a waitress come up to their table.

"Hello, my name is Jillie and i will be your waitress today." the waitress says "what can i get the cute couple to eat?".
